Alex, Where does one begin to unravel the tangled web that you guys weave? Why do you seek to hijack Christianity and call it something else, and applaud yourselves for the marvelous job? Don't you understand that the problem isn't with the "institution" nor the doctrines. It's with people. The "church" is filled with believers and unbelievers alike. With Spirit-filled and carnal alike. With mature and immature believer alike. Jesus explained it best. (You can look that up if you want.) Within the "church" is The Church, alive and well, in the world but not of the world, worshiping God in Spirit and in truth, exactly where He placed us. Would you have us do otherwise? You act like you have invented something new, as if the generations of faithful saints before you missed it big time. You refer to us as if opposition is something new. You know, "Christian" was a derogatory name given to the early group of believers thousands of years ago to imply the way in which they would suffer. That's a group that's still around today, a little bigger and with plenty of baggage for you to resent, but the same in purpose and unity. The notion that a more genuine body of believers (paraphrase intent) would need to depart from that identity is not from God. (You remind me of the Gnostics and the Judeizers. Same Same, but different.) Let me explain it to you this way and I hope that your and like-minded would take warning before you create an even bigger mess. You are taking the fast track to becoming everything that you dislike about "Christianity." You are building a movement though carnal, Human means and you are amassing a very large following of self-focused individuals whom you aren't nurturing with the enduring Word of God, but rather with your own, strange, mystic doctrines that encourage them to be even more inwardly focused and self aggrandizing. Where does a "Human" go after having become disillusioned with YOUR movement? You've already reinforced their disdain for the apathy they believe they encountered (real or imagined... they may just be immature in their faith) in their old church and convinced them that the problem is most certainly Christianity in general. I hope that you think that one through, because you're going to have a lot of them on your hands in a few years. I, for one, am praying that they rediscover the timeless truths in God's Word... repentance, sanctification, humility instead of jumping ship all together into full blown apostasy. Think it over. If you disagree, just wait and watch.

Hey Alex...it was really good to get a chance to speak with you at JE's house last weekend. I am definitely interested in everything about the IMN and it's mission. By the way -I have that strawberry ice cream cheesecake recipe for your wife. Take care!

I need to chew on this new challenge to my perception a bit... but what's undeniable is it's quality of being both refreshing and provocative at the same time. That always warrants further exploration. Glad to have found your voice again... the mystic in me was missing it's influence...
