I dropped a line a couple of times. I realize you were world cuppin it! Wasn’t it a great tournament – WOW! My family and I were rooting for Italia the whole time, so that made it a great time for us!
Listen, I just wanted to interact a bit about a mid-atlantic event of “Fire Makers” and was just curious if we could either talk or just email some thoughts and ideas. I have been following your blog for a while now, but there is something that has been bugging me for quite some time…and now I just gotta ask it.
What exactly do you mean when you say, “Welcome back. You belong here.” It is a nice pithy statement, but what does it mean? And why do I belong here? (I am not trying to be sarcastic or get too deep, but it just made me wonder why you open many of our posts that way. It is intriguing…

Hey Alex,
For me the first comment – “Welcome Back”, makes me feel just that – welcome. It also reminds of your firm handshake, warm smile, and sun shaded eyes! The second comment – “You belong here.”, is what I feel permeates your being and that is a genuine love of community; verbal dialogue; people; and willingness to serve Him who calls you!
But hey.., that is just how I feel when I read them! 🙂
Secondly, based on our discussion the other day; other than the obvious internet data I am able to procure for promotion, do you have any other written or mailing material I would be able to supply potential interested parties. Just email at the above email or give me shout. I am in the process of gathering communities of faith that may be interested in the mid-Atlantic area and will proceed as discussed. I will give you and update as soon as I have some substantial data gathered.
