Here’s part 1 of a conversation with Dean and Christina Sharp on their experience working with the homeless. These two are not among those who just talk about it, they’ve done it.
I can’t remember who said it but I once heard someone say that Christians believe that the world is going to hell in a handbasket but it’s still alright to go bowling on Friday night. His point was that experiencing simple pleasures, even leisure, is [even or maybe especially in a dark world] a gift. Enjoy.
In that spirit, I wanted to offer you something different tonight. Pour your self a cold/ or hot tea, take off your shoes, put on some headphones, and check out my first podcast.
I’m playing for you one of the selections from our new CD that Niza and I have been working on. Consider it a multicultural experience at chilling out brazilian style. Hope you enjoy it and your weekend.
